...because we design and develop all our bikes in-house. We manufacture our parts in Asia and Europe, assemble them in the Netherlands, and sell our bikes online and in our flagship stores on 3 continents. The operations and supply chain is run by our teams in Taiwan, Amsterdam and New York.
As supply chain/operations manager you will be responsible for managing the US supply chain and operations function. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and improving our current operations activities by establishing goals based on the global supply chain requirements. You'll be responsible for overseeing our operations supply chain department in the Entire US, and interact with 3PL Partners and HQ Operations department on the alignment of planning and supply chain execution to match customer demand. You have excellent leadership skills and the ability to put together and manage talented, effective team.
You also have a basic understanding of manufacturing processes, and know how to maximize inventory turns, and are a seasoned expert in international order management, shipping and experienced in ERP and supply chain systems.
You will work closely with the Asia finance team in Taipei and the HQ Operations team in Amsterdam. You will secure that factories and supplier that are sourced, comply to global VanMoof end-to-end supply chain needs.
You will report to our General manager in New York and will be providing transparency regarding supplier delivery performance, product availability and inventory turns. We’re interested in improving our speed, supply flexibility, efficiency and resource use to increase our company’s overall revenue.
